TrackChronos / Motorsport telemetry system

Features

From footage to faster laps

Every clip below is the app running on real sessions: 41 of them, 700 km travelled, 255 valid laps, one rider, one bike. Here's how it works, in the order you'd use it.

Get your data in

01 — Import

Turn your GoPro footage into timed laps

Select the MP4s from your GoPro, or SpeedAngle files, and TrackChronos groups chaptered files into one session, extracts the GPS and sensor data and finds your laps.

It all happens on your machine. No upload, no account, no waiting on a server.

  • 02 Automatic lap timing Laps and sectors are timed at any circuit. TrackChronos selects the track automatically, or finds the start/finish and sector lines from your own laps and remembers them for next time. No beacon or lap timer needed.

Review a session

03 — Session summary

Find the sector costing you the most time

TrackChronos screens out messy laps, works out your typical pace and how repeatable you were, then shows where the variation actually came from, down to the sector.

Every lap sits in one table with sector splits against your typical lap, so your best lap and the near-misses around it stand out. Open "Why am I seeing this?" for the method behind each insight.

04 — Synced replay

Match every moment to the onboard video

Pick a lap and the video, every telemetry trace, the G-G plot and your position on the track map jump to it together. Press play and they stay in step.

Drag the timeline anywhere and everything follows. When the speed trace dips somewhere you didn't expect, you're one click from seeing what you were doing on the bike.

05 — Braking zones

See every braking point, lap by lap

TrackChronos finds each braking event and lines them up by corner, so you can see which laps you braked later, harder or longer, and how much that varies across the session.

Select any corner on any lap and the replay jumps to the moment you hit the brakes.

  • 06 Lap table Every lap with sector splits against your typical lap, plus your theoretical ideal and attainable lap.

Find time

07 — Lap comparison

Line up any two laps, from any day

Search your laps by session, track or time and drop them into the comparison rack. Your PB against a lap from two years ago works as well as two laps from the same morning.

The Charts view overlays speed, acceleration, braking and lean. The Delta trace shows time gained and lost along the lap; hover it and the ghost lines on the map and both onboard videos move to that spot.

08 — Side-by-side onboard

Watch two laps at the same spot on track

Step along the delta trace and both onboard videos jump to the same distance into the lap, while the ghost lines on the map show where each line went.

Speed and lean for both laps sit side by side under the map, so you can see what you did differently, not just that you were slower.

Track progress

09 — Insights

See your pace move across seasons

Insights filters out atypical laps and builds a baseline you can trust: your typical pace, your personal best and the lap your best sectors say is attainable.

Every session sits on one chart, so progress across track days is plain to see, and the biggest opportunity to improve your repeatable pace is ranked for you.

  • 10 Tracks Each circuit rolled up into your best lap and your most consistent session.
  • 11 Results A searchable scoreboard of every recorded lap, grouped by track, one click from the session it came from.
  • 12 Map Every session’s GPS route on the map, to compare lines and jump back to the source session.

Remember the conditions

13 — Notes & conditions

Remember why it felt that way

Write down setup changes, what you tried and how it felt while it's fresh. Notes save as you type and stay with the session.

Add track temperature or correct anything that looks off, so the numbers still have context weeks later.

  • 14 Automatic weather Air temperature, rain and wind are fetched for the time and place you rode, so every session carries its conditions.

Keep it yours

15 — On your machine

Your data stays on your machine

TrackChronos is a desktop app. Your footage is processed on your computer, and every session, note and lap time is stored there too.

  • Stored locally Sessions, footage and notes live on your computer.
  • No cloud Nothing is uploaded to process or analyse a session.
  • Guides built in Plain-language guides on each view explain what you’re looking at.

The list grows with each release. See what's new in the changelog, or what's coming on the roadmap.
